The concert was amazing! Everyone did very well and I am proud of everyone. We all payed attention during the concert, we were all quite when we wern't on, and we all sang very well. One thing I could have done better was to make sure I was singing my part right all the time because from me being absent from going on field trips and such I did not know my music that well, so I think I could have done a better job learning my part. Also I have noticed since last year my sight reading has become much better and I can really tell a difference when we are starting a new piece. I cannot wait for the rest of the year and for the winter concert! :)

The concert was awesome!!! The band was fantastic. It must have taken alot of work and effort to put everything together. Thanks to miss. Polak for making everything work out with the band and chorus and etc. One thing that i could have done better is memorizing the mamma mia song better. Other then that everything was fantastic! This is my first year doing chorus. I would have never done it if there were other classes open.. Honestly At first i really didn't want to take it, but after the first day wow what a difference i'm so glad i was stuck in that class because now i love it. Chorus is my favorite class now. I'm so glad i was put in chorus and i'm also glad that no other classes were open. I can't wait for the singing in the mall and for the six flags field trip!!!I really don't want the year to end. Well i guess enjoy it while it's still here.

Overall, the concert went really well. There were a few rough spots throughout the show but other than that it was amazing. The band sounded amazing and the chorus did as well. I think the best song that we had performed was, "Season's of Love". Everybody had this certain energy while singing that song that filled the air and you could tell that it was our favorite song to perform. There are many things in which I have improved upon this year, things like; sight reading and sticking to my part better. I had no idea what sight reading was up until the districts auditions last year and it's a lot harder than it seems. I was surprised I had even done well in that section but, I find sight reading enjoyable and it's fun to run through the music just sight reading to test your knowledge on the notes and see if you can get all of them correct throughout the song. Also, sticking to my part has been a lot easier this year. Last year, not being in chorus, I would jump around to whichever part I had known in the song the best instead of sticking to the part which I was supposed to be on but, now that I am in chorus all year as a class, I find it easier to stick to my own part. There are many goals for this year in which I have for chorus, my one major goal would be to obtain the honor of getting into districts again this year. But, other than that, my goal is to have fun learning and singing in chorus this year. The past concert was amazing this year, I hope to improve within many areas vocally this year, and I know the rest of the choral year for me will be great.

I had a blast at the concert! Everyone did very well and I think that everyone enjoyed themselves, including some people in the audience. I know that there were some challenging parts throughout "Climb Every Mountain" but it was nothing that was a major problem. I also loved bands last song because I love The Lion King! I think that I could have been more helpful in making sure that the little jobs were done, aka my curtain mistake, and I could have probably been a bit quieter, but when am I quite! I want to become more familiar with sight reading and Sol Fedge but other than that I want to have a great year. I also want to want to start getting pumped for our trip to Great East later this year. Keep up the great work chorus and band; this year is going to be a great one!

I think that the concert went great. Even songs that we did not really like came out really great and everyone really seemed to enjoy it. So far this year I have accomplished a couple of things, I know whats going on, I got the hang of warm-ups(my first week was confusing with that) and I am actually generally it tune. As for what I want to accomplish, I just want to be able to hang with the rest of the kids, I don't want to JUST be a band kid, I hope to kind of do it all.

I think the concert was amazing. I got a lot of positive feedback from my family and other people who went to see it. I think our best song was Seasons of Love too, because no one expected us to come from the back so they were surprised. I think one of the biggest problems was just cooperation from everyone. Some people were fooling around and such while we were waiting to go on and i think people should have been more serious about it, but other than that i think we all did really well. Even though some people made mistakes it sounded really good.
This year i want to learn how to not only sing in unison with everyone but also how to do better harmonies. It sounds so pretty when we all sing together and i want to learn how to do the harmonies better.
I'm most looking forward to the christmas concert and singing at emerald square. there's gonna be soooo many people ! i think it'll be a lot of fun too just because we're all so fun and bubbly. ( most of us) haha.

I thought the concert was great! Everyone did an amazing job. We really stuck our songs. Some of the songs were challenging, but we all did really well. We were also all quiet when we were off stage. Band did an amazing job as well! I think I've accomplished a lot this year. I haven't been in chorus in a couple years now, so I'm pretty much improving on everything. I know that my breathing is getting better, and it's getting easier and easier for me to stick to my part as we go along. I'm looking forward to the rest of our concerts and to the trip to the Great East! I'm so glad i did chorus this year! I'm SO excited for the rest of the year!

The concert was so much fun!!! I really love that we, as a chorus group, were able to come together and sound awesome! Also, since we didn't have to sing straight through all of our songs, I think that it really gave all of us a chance to relax, look up our music, and listen to other people perform. My favorite part of the concert was when we did "Seasons of Love" because it was cool that we were able to walk around and give the audience a memorable show. We all could have been a little more quiet in the cafeteria, but everyone was so excited and when your excited its hard to keep quiet. Oh yeah, and having small groups was fun because it gave you a chance to get to know people you might not have known much about before. So far this year, I have taken chorus more seriously (not that I didn't take it seriously before) and figured out what my vocal range is. Unfortunately I can't take the class all year, but I look forward to attending afterschool chorus :)I am also looking forward to singing in the mall and going on the field trip:) And singing, of course!! Can't wait to see whats in store for me this year:)

I was so impressed with our concert! With so many more people we were a lot more powerful, and of course we now have enough guys to not have girls singing bass. Everybody sounded fantastic, it was probably the best we had ever sang those songs and everyone seemed pretty confident. I was really suprised that our small group song came together as well as it did considering just that morning we werent so sure that it would. My family also loved the concert; they loved the way it was set up with scattered chorus, band, and small groups. There are of course still things we can improve on. Even at the time of the concert I still was unsure of in Think of Me and in the future I really should take the time to figure out the parts I don't know perfectly. Also, as Miss. P tells us everyday, we need to start putting some emotions on our faces and showing how much we love to sing. People didn't pay (or donate) to stare at dead faces for two hours. So far this year I have gotten better at singing my own part instead of whichever one I like the best. This year, as Sarah said, I would love to learn how Sol Fedge. And of course, I cannot wait for our trip to Canobie Lake! Keep up the good work!

1) Our past Broadway concert was an amazing experience. Norton is so full of musically gifted students and it was incredible to see each of them have their moment in the spotlight. Performing with the chorus was incredible. The harmonies were so graceful in the way they were subtle and pleasant in songs like “Climb Every Mountain”, yet evoked strong emotion (such as fear or jubilance) in “The Ballad of Sweeney Todd” or “Seasons of Love”. I truly was moved by our performance in seasons of love and I truly feel my solos were some of the most fun and thrilling moments I’ve ever had on stage. The concert was nothing but incredible and a truly spectacular opportunity in which to be involved.

2) My biggest accomplishment this year, I feel, has been the substantialimprovement I’ve made in reading music and learning harmonies. Chorus this year has truly presented a challenge, as in middle school harmonies were very simple and sight reading was hardly ever necessary. With a greater amount of music and a lot more independence, I’ve got to say I’m very proud of my ability to learn with the chorus and contribute as best I can.

3) This year I am really looking forward to our field trip at the end of the year. Two of my favorite things are singing and amusement parks so, what could possibly better then both combined? I really love chorus class and look forward to it each day its on my schedule, but in the long run, the thought of that field trip puts a huge smile on my face : )

I think the concert was great and went really well. It was a success. I think the chorus and band did a great job! I think the auidence enjoy and liked the concert. I liked the way the concert was set up; like chorus goes then band goes. I think I could have done a better job with my solo in Mamma Mia, but other than that I thought everything was good. I think I have accomplished a lot this year. I learned what coda means. I think my singing and breathing has gotten so much better than last year. I thought it was going to be hard to memorize all the music in the amount of time we had but I managed to do it. I can't wait to sing at the mall. I think that is a great idea and I hope its going to be fun. I also can't wait to go to six flags. I am looking foward to learning new music and I am looking forward for the other concerts we will have throughout the year. Thanks Miss Polak!!!

The concert was fabulous :) We all sounded great and it was loads of fun. I think my singing overall has improved SO much since last year already. I'm much better at hitting tough notes now. Chorus my absolute favorite class i really wish it was all year... :( i'm really looking forward to the winter concert and singing at the mall if we end up doing that.

1. This concert went really well compared to our concerts in the previous years. I liked that everyone had more solo opportunities than ever before. I also liked that the music was much more current and relatable this year compared to previous years. The style of switching off between band and chorus kept people watching the whole thing instead of just leaving in after one.

2. This year I have become a little better at sight reading and learning alto parts faster than I have previous years. Also, my lower range is getting lower.

3. The rest of the year I am looking forward to doing more interesting music, and I hope our other concerts will have as good of a turnout as this one was!

I think the concert went great! I loved the why the band and the chorus switched and how there were small groups mixed in. I have heard a lot of feedback that it was a great concert and that people like how it was set up. One thing I could have improved upon was learning my part for Climb E'vry Mountain because i did jump back and forth between alto and soprano because I had the soprano memorized because of the movie. I am really happy with the way my solo in Solla Solew went as well as the way my range is improving, I am going much higher than I was last year. I am really excited for the winter concert as well as the feild trip! Everyone keep up the great work!

I think that the concert went really good and that everyone did a good job, the band sounded really good, along with us. We all really enjoyed doing " Seasons Of Love". The reason for that is because its just an all around great song and it was really fun walking down the sides like they did in Rent. I have improved on sight reading and also i have impored on being better in class. I really do love singing and enjoy doing it very much. My one major goal this year in chorus is to get better at singing and be able to sight read better and be able to hit higher notes. I really want to do this because singing is one of my favorite things to do whether its in school at chorus, or im at home just sitting in my room. So i want to learn to get better and practice the songs on my own. Your an amazing teacher and so far i have a learned so much from you, thank you (:

This concert was amazing. I loved it. The band did an amazing job. Everything seemed to have gone perfect. I think I had all the songs memorized but I did have trouble with memorizing mama mia. This is my first ever year doing Chorus. Some of my friends told me to join because its so much fun and I'd love it. I totally regret not joining earlier because its become one of my favorite classes. I've learned so many things but one that helped was the head& chest voice Miss. Polak taught me about.

1. The concert was great! My parents loved it, and I think there was a lot of effort put into it by everyone. The mic had some weirdness going on, but it was still really cool.

2. Actually, I've made a couple of friends in chorus this year! I think I've also gotten a tad better with the whole sight-reading thing.

3. I am looking foreward to participating in all of the upcoming concerts, and the field trip thingy magigy!

I think that this concert turned out to be great! Even though most people were a little scared of tricky songs like Climb Every Mountain or Sweeney Todd, we sang them both very well. In this concert I learned not to be thrown off by notes you cant hit or piano music that doesnt help you sing you part. My goal for the rest of the year is to improve my sight reading and come to every after school chorus rehearsal after chorus is over for me.

This concert was awsome!! im so happy we did not use music this year ,it looked so good. I have met alot of new people this year and i have learned alot in music theory that has helped me be a better singer. I think for this concert we could have worked on the smaller groups more. My mom and friends loved it. I can't wait for the next one!!!! thanks KP!

The Night on Broadway was probably one of my favorite concerts yet! I loved all of the songs we sang. Everyone tried very hard to learn their parts. And when put together it sounded very good. I think that "Climb Every Mountain" was the one song that people messed up on. The cutoffs were wrong and a lot of people didn't come in when they were supposed to, so you only heard Sarah! I think that the small groups could have worked harder and memorized their music also voice projection. I am very excited for our trip to the mall and the Great East trip.

The concert went so much better than I expected. The rehearsal after school was messy and everyone was loud, but at the concert, none of those mistakes occured. The beginning of Climb Every Mountain was rough because a lot of people got the second line wrong, so it would've gone smoother if we worked more on memorizing the lyrics. This year in chorus, I am excited to learn new music, and I'm SUPER EXCITED for the Canobie Lake field trip! Also, this year I'm hoping to get better at sight reading, and to be more confident with hitting higher notes.

I thought are concert went really well. Everyone seemed to enjoy it, i know i did. It was my favorite concert yet by far. It was really fun to do and i enjoyed the songs too. I thought we all did a good job performing them and worked really hard so the concert would be good. I just think we messed up on "Climb every mountain" and i felt that the small groups could have projected their voices better. Im really looking forward to be performing at the mall and the canobie lake field trip :]

The concert was so much fun. Everyone did amazing. The chorus, the band. Great conducting too. :)
The Broadway theme was the BEST. I had one of my friends, who's obsessed with the theatre, come and he was really impressed at how well we all did with the songs. There were a few mistakes, like at the start of Climb Every Mountain, but it went well. Good on the high notes. Kenny, the friend of mine, said he liked Jersey Boys the best; good job guys. Can't wait for the next concert!
